WORKING AT YURI IS LIKE: YOUR MISSION: Your role will be to ensure the success of our space missions – from the ISS to pioneering projects in the far reaches of the cosmos. You will design and develop state-of-the-art space hardware, support mission preparation, and oversee the assembly, integration, and testing of flight-ready systems. YOUR TASKS: Designing life science experiments for space especially the fluidic systems and experiment enclosures (3-D experience or catia V5 preferred) Define/perform analyses for thermal and structural loads of the spaceflight experiments through all mission phases (transport, launch, on orbit, return) Support on the assembly, integration and testing of the designed systems especially in the scope of flight mission preparations Work closely together with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best performance for the overall system WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: have experiences in similar areas over more than 3 years are experienced with CAD ideally 3DExperience of CatiaV5 are experienced with MS Office are a team player with communication skills, supportive, well organized and have an independent way of working fluently speak and write in English and ideally good in German ideally have experience with AIT of spaceflight systems ideally experience with ANSYS especially for thermal analyses Mindset self-motivated and proactive takes full ownership comfortable with high uncertainty hands-on / getting things done persistent relentlessly resourceful analytical empathic low ego WHY YURI: Is there anything more exciting than the intersection of space and biotechnology ?
