The Embedded Systems Engineer (f/m/d) works closely with the Embedded Systems engineering team to develop our current and future products, and support product validation and verification. Implementing new designs and design revisions. Maintaining and improving the current products and resolving issues. Working with management and an interdisciplinary team of engineers to discuss project specifications and procedures. Performing design reviews and writing technical reports and specifications. Assisting in the development and execution of test set-ups to troubleshoot and resolve product issues reported by team members and customers. Working closely with the product testing staff. Coordinating projects, making detailed plans, risk assessments and mitigation plans and schedules to deliver on assigned goals. Establishing documentation and process improvements for development. Writing technical specifications. Firmware development in C/C++. What we look for : A bachelor’s of science degree in an engineering discipline, or related degree, or equivalent experience. Minimum three years of product development experience. Proficient in discipline-specific CAD and the use of test and measurement equipment. Fundamental knowledge and experience in a broad swath of discipline-specific engineering theory and practice. Familiarity with regulatory compliance testing such as compliance related to performance and safety. Experience in the development of system-related firmware in C/C++ and unit tests. Excellent initiative, good team player, and self-motivated to work independently. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Experience in connected devices and sensors. Business fluent in German and English.
