Job Description
As part of the Commercial Space Station project you will have the following responsibilities:
1. Provide Mission Planning expertise and support to the design and development of Commercial Space Station operations in an integrated and collaborative fashion, supporting design, development, and preparation of deliverables;
2. Contribute to Commercial Space Station Mission Planning definition and refinement;
3. Define Mission Planning scenarios ensuring proper reflection of interfaces to Mission Operations, Engineering and safety;
4. Identification of innovative set of mission support tools;
5. Inputs for the Training Process regarding Mission Planning;
6. Participate in program reviews;
7. Coordination with other Mission functions and teams, NASA, Commercial Crew Transport and Cargo;
8. Perform other duties as agreed and required.
Qualifications
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
9. Degree in aerospace, electrical/mechanical engineering, computer science (or equivalent);
10. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of aerospace;
11. Knowledge of spacecraft systems and subsystems architectures and mission support concepts;
12. Experience with Systems Engineering processes, techniques, with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools ( CAMEO), Requirements Engineering and tools (DOORS);
13. Basic knowledge of computer-aided design;
14. Ability to learn fast, able to work proactively and comfortable working in full autonomy, attention to details;
15. Good Communication and presentation skills;
16. Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
