* In your role you develop precious metal-coated metal substrate electrodes, especially for water electrolysis.
* Processing and coating technologies are evaluated and developed by you.
* Implementing quality control and analytical characterization methods for process optimization of electrodes is part of your tasks.
* You identify material requirements and electrode prerequisites for application-oriented material development.
* Application-related issues and optimizations regarding customer requirements are handled by you.
* Planning, conducting, and evaluating experimental plans independently, as well as coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, is your responsibility.
* Coordinating and executing external prototype manufacturing and pilot-scale production is part of your tasks.
* You are prepared to act independently in an international environment and to work for internal and external project goals on a laboratory and pilot scale and to present your results in an evaluated and documented manner.
Your profile:
* University in natural sciences, materials science or engineering, preferably with an MSc degree.
* Several years of work experience in the field of research & development or production of metal substrate electrodes and precious metal coating, preferably for hydrogen applications
* Knowledge of components in electrolysis cells, especially porous transport layers
* Advanced knowledge of processing methods for metal deposition and the associated analytical characterization
* Sound knowledge of electrochemical processes on metal electrodes
* Good knowledge of project and stakeholder management
* Advanced knowledge of English and MS Office as well as the creation of specifications
