We start with the production of the center fuselage in Weeze (Germany) for one of the most modern and powerful fighter aircraft in the world, the F-35.
Together with our partners Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman, Rheinmetall will be part of the largest and most comprehensive armaments program in the international arena with 20 user nations worldwide, including the USA, Israel, Finland, Germany, Singapore, Japan and Australia.

1. Checking the dimensional accuracy of aircraft and vehicle components, assemblies, devices, test gauges, etc.
2. Acquisition and evaluation with 3D coordinate measuring systems (optical/tactile)
3. Measurement of free-form surfaces and standard geometries on prototypes, initial samples and series components
4. Individual and series measurement as well as measurements during production
5. Programming and evaluation of measurement sequences using CAD data, measurement plans and drawings
6. Independent processing of internal inquiries in the field of measurement technology
7. Contact person for internal clients, e.g. development or quality assurance
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
8. Completed technical vocational training in the field of measurement technology, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or electrical engineering
9. Further training as a master craftsman, technician or measurement technician according to AUKOM
10. Several years of professional experience in the field of optical and tactile 3D coordination measurement technology
11. Strong understanding of technical drawings and documentation and the resulting measurement programming
12. Experience in working with PDM systems
13. User knowledge of MS Office and SAP
14. Very good written and spoken English skills
15. High ability to work in a team and a customer-oriented way of working
16. Willingness for longer stays and business trips to the USA (until the end of 2025)
