Your responsibilities
As Test Automation Engineer (f/m/x) in our Digital Lab Solutions Division you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our diagnostics software products through automated testing.
* Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases (UI and services) within our lab systems landscape
* Execute automated tests and analyse results for continuous optimization
* Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and quality standards are met
* Conduct tool evaluations to select appropriate test automation solutions
* Create test automation concepts for various software projects
* Mentor and guide testers, assuming the role of Lead Test Automation Engineer
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and healthcare technology. Creatively promoting our products and services through written text
Your profile
* Academic degree in software engineering, bio-/medical technology or related field with strong IT affinity
* Proven experience in test automation engineering, methodologies, and tools (ISTQB advanced level certificate)
* Advanced knowledge of at least two test automation tools such as TOSCA, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI, Ranorex, or others
* Strong understanding of agile / lean methodologies, and healthcare industry standards / regulations
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English fluent)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proactive personality with passion for digital transformation and continuous learning as role evolves with technological advancements and market changes
