Your Role
Are you interested in shaping the future of smart digital consumer products? We are looking for a passionate and talented Image Pipeline Engineer to contribute to the development of our next generation of digital consumer products.
As part of our dynamic team of engineers and scientists, your role will involve optimizing the parameters for our image pipeline and delving into detailed engineering tasks. We need someone who can find innovative solutions to hardware constrained challenges. While experience with FPGA/GPU/NPUs for embedded devices is not a requirement, it is definitely a plus.
In the long term, we expect you to be able to develop efficient algorithms that can be run on embedded hardware and be able to train your own models such as CNN's, diffusion models for denoising, super resolution style transfer and beyond. You should be well versed in Python and version control, basic C/C++ and be able to develop classical algorithms as well as using modern machine learning techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Optimize parameters for our image pipeline
2. Develop innovative solutions for hardware-constrained challenges
3. Train your own models for various applications like super resolution, denoising, colorization of b/w images, tonemapping and others
4. Develop efficient algorithms for deployment on embedded hardware
5. Stay updated with the latest trends in the field of image processing and computer vision
6. Develop both classical algorithms and modern machine learning techniques

Your Profile
7. A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
8. Proven experience in mathematical image processing
9. Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and version control
10. Familiarity with toolkits such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
11. Ability to develop both classical algorithms and use modern machine learning techniques
12. A hands-on approach to bringing your ideas to life in our digital consumer products
13. Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends in the field of image processing
