Enhancing the simulation framework, user interfaces, and debugging tools. Engaging in the full software lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, design, coding, testing, integration, and documentation. Coordinating with customers and internal teams for simulator design, reviews, and timely delivery. Supporting customers during mission preparation and simulator maintenance phases. Your Qualifications A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred). Proficiency in modern C++ and experience with Python (essential). Familiarity with Linux environments (essential). Experience as a Software or Simulator Software Engineer (essential). Knowledge of federated simulation and co-simulation techniques (preferred). Familiarity with Qt, Git, DOORS, JIRA, embedded software, and ECSS-SMP tools and standards (e.g., ECSS-E-ST-40C or DO-178B) is advantageous. Experience in the space sector, particularly with ground station software, is beneficial. Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills. Fluency in English (German language courses offered).
