Your role We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Technical Support Specialist with a strong background in Electron Microscopes to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will lead efforts in providing technical assistance and support to our FSEs worldwide in the electronical business. This position requires extensive travel, with approximately 10% of the time spent on-site at customer locations. Global/Regional 2nd level technical Support for Electron Microscopes for 1st level FSE´s Hotline Support for Electron Microscopes Train 1st level engineers in our training facilities Track technical problems in our CRM system Remote controlled diagnostic On-site Support o Failure analysis of complex problems Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues related to Electron Microscope systems Technical coordination of FSEs in the field Coordination with factory support, quality, and R&D Your profile Master’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical field (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Engineering) is preferred Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with Electron Microscope systems in a technical support capacity Knowledge in sample preparation and application and in electron optics and vacuum technology are preferable Willingness and capability to travel (approximately 10% of the time) to customer sites worldwide for technical support Strong intercultural communication skills Target-oriented and autonomous method of operation Very good English and German skills, more languages preferred Excellent analytical way of thinking, team-minded and the ability to work under pressure Excellent PC knowledge Become part of our team and shape the microscopy systems of tomorrow Your ZEISS Recruiting Team: Franziska Bäuerle
