Your tasks:
* Match supplier’s Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Management (QCDM) to the project requirements, including evaluating their technical and manufacturing abilities, project management skills, tooling knowledge, and capacity
* Ensure design for manufacturability throughout the project by conducting feasibility studies, assessing technical capability and capacity, and managing spare parts
* Clarify build/launch requirements and align the supplier's manufacturing plan
* Ensure the supplier is prepared and capable for product launch
* Assist suppliers in achieving QCDM objectives
* Support design engineers in decision-making for changes during the development phase and mass production
* Review quotations from suppliers for changes to tools, jigs, and fixtures
Your profile:
* Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable education
* CAD/CAM, Moldflow programs, Measurement Programs, SAP, MS Office
* Excellent tooling skills from planning to launching
* Strong technical skills on mechanical design/tooling design/tooling development
* Automotive quality assurance
* Fluent in English and German languages (Japanese speaking preferable) and great cross-cultural communication skills
