As Senior IT-Infrastructure Security Engineer (m/f/d) at Kipu Quantum your responsibilities essentially consist of: Design and implement robust security measures for networks, systems, and cloud infrastructure Monitor and address security incidents, ensuring thorough investigations and effective remediation Conduct advanced vulnerability assessments and penetration testing Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure application and service deployments Stay informed on emerging security trends, threats, and technologies, applying best practices Provide training and guidance on security protocols to team members Lead security audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards Your profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, cyber security, IT security or a related field resp. comparable qualifications Sound experience as specialist in IT security and network administration or a related field, ideally in a start-up environment Extensive knowledge of network and system security principles Proven experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM Strong familiarity with cloud security; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) would be highly desirable Experience in leading security projects and initiatives Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills combined with strong communication and leadership abilities True startup mindset; hands-on, driven, resilient.
