You can find out more about us here >>> Your area of work The development and maintenance of optical geodetic instruments like the Trimble Digital Level DiNi®, the Terrestrial Laser Scanners of the Trimble X-Series or the construction layout total stations like Trimble Ri and PLT400 from Hilti AG. Have a look at our product here >>> The center of your work activities is product maintenance and further development and testing of existing geodetic optical positioning systems, the development of new measurement systems and principles as like their application testing under specific environmental conditions. A further focus is on management of such development projects to lead the design teams towards the final product. A close cooperation with the colleagues of the Jena team and the international Trimble teams of all development sites is of extreme value for your successful work. You will bring Successfully completed university or academy studies of surveying and photogrammetry (preferable), mechatronics or physics. A wide knowledge about mode of operation and applications of laser optical positioning systems. Project management skills. Ability to identify, manage and communicate risks. Having effective analytical and problem solving skills. Willingness to become part of our team with long-term perspective of employment in our company, with engagement in our future and our team atmosphere. Capability of working independently and in a team-based environment. Self-discipline and management. Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing in English, skills in persuading and influencing others within your team as well as and external business partners. Fluency in Germany is an advantage.
