Senior Engineer Firmware - Power Supply Applications (f/m/d)
As a Senior Engineer Firmware (f/m/d), you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing firmware for Power Conversion systems. You will be part of a dynamic and experienced team and your technical knowledge will lead us to the next level in our mission of excellence.
Job Description
In your new role you will:
* Collaborate on firmware development for our next-generation powerconversion solutions with a focus on power supply applications
* Analyze, design, and optimize firmware architectures for microcontroller-based systems
* Write, test, and debug firmware in close collaboration with hardware engineering teams
* Explore and implement innovative concepts in power conversion technologie
* Contribute to Model-Based Design (MBD) practices using tools such as MATLAB/Simulin
* Support simulation, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, and verification processes
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field; PhD is preferred
* 1-3 years of professional experience within the power electronics or embedded systems domain, with expertise in firmware development
* Experience in embedded C programming and familiarity with microcontroller-based development
* Understanding of power supply concepts and conversion principles (e.g., AC to DC, DC to DC)
* Familiarity with Model-Based Design (MBD) tools such as MATLAB/Simulink
* A hands-on mindset with exposure to simulations, verification processes, or HIL systems
* Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and collaboration
