We're hiring a CAM Engineer to join our team based out of our Germany, UK or Poland offices. We focus on content development and management, which includes specialists from multiple regions across Europe and the USA, collaborating in a lean-agile environment. At NX CAM, we are collaborating with international teams worldwide to create the next generation of machining solutions. To achieve this vision, we are developing both automated and semi-automated solutions that aid our customers in planning, programming, and verifying their NC programs. If you are you a highly motivated, driven Engineer with a passion for Mechanical Engineering then apply today - we'd love to hear from you You'll make a difference by: - Designing, developing, modifying, and implementing software programming for products. - Providing innovative solutions to technical challenges within areas of expertise. - Leading tool and environment projects, ensuring effective execution. - Implementing code, conducting reviews, and managing software integration. - Maintaining and supporting existing software tools while adding new functionalities. - Gathering user requirements and integrating them into tools when feasible. - Ensuring deliverables align with design specifications and perform necessary reviews and unit tests. - Communicating proactively with developers and customers about project status. - Managing project scope, plans, schedules, and deliverables effectively. - Staying updated on industry advancements through research and collaboration. Your success in grounded in: - Your exceptional TCL scripting ability (Python would also be great). - Mechanical Engineering background/degree or similar (you may even have hands-on shopfloor experience) - The experience you can bring with software tools like NX, Integrated Simulation and Verification (ISV), Common Simulation Engine (CSE) or any other tool. - Prior experience with CAM product will be an advantage. - Nice if you have hands-on experience in writing test cases, functional testing and system testing with computer software. - Knowledge of SAFe agile methodology would be beneficial.
