Job Description
In your new role you will:
* Join a team of digital design engineers and own the digital design for IP development and maintenance for platform-based products with this team
* Work closely with concept engineering, functional safety experts, IP/SoC pre-silicon verification, and project management of product development projects
* Evolve and optimize your building blocks in regards to power consumption and size, define and implement the interfaces to analog-mixed signal modules
* Support the physical implementation and Static Time Analysis (STA)
* Support the product level integration and verification
* Support product validation and debugging activities
* Have a look on opportunities for new and differentiating IPs for coming projects, take the chance and go for it
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent background with specific knowledge in microelectronic devices
* At least 5+ years of practical experience in digital design for IP/SoC development or verification and integration of digital and mixed signal IPs in subsystems/SoCs
* Solid knowledge of industry-standard digital interfaces (e.g. SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN)
* Architecture experience with CPU subsystems (e.g. ARM, Risc-V)
* Expertise to ensure HDL code quality (e.g. Linting, CDC, DFT)
* Understanding of the interaction and dependencies of different IP/SoC development steps (RTL coding, linting, CDC, DFT, synthesis, timing constraints, STA, verification, etc.)
* Interest in the adjacent disciplines, especially Digital Functional Verification, Firmware, Component Verification and understanding of their needs
* Good knowledge of scripting languages like Perl or Python
* Knowledge of Requirements Management (tools like Jama or Doors) as well as ARM Cortex-M would be a plus
* Fluent English language skills, German would be an advantage
