Your mission We are looking for an experienced Mechatronics Engineer (m/f/d) for our project business and a new great colleague for our team CAD modelling and prototyping : You design the hardware and mechatronics parts of costumer specific intelligent industrial automation systems, print 3D models and craft prototypes to evaluate their functionalities. Mechatronics : You design the mechatronics of automation solutions by researching suitable sensors and actuators. Also, you purchase and assemble the necessary components for the factory acceptance tests. Industrial software implementation : You set up PLC configurations and components. Additionally, you implement control algorithms and communications interfaces to high performance computing units to combine real time control functionality with AI based evaluations methods. You set up communication, configure settings and program industrial robots to perform pick-&-place and handling tasks. Assembly and Onsite Deployment : You assemble the hardware and mechatronics components to a final system for factory acceptance tests and integrate those at customers site for site acceptance test Your profile Mechatronics Engineer : Combining mechanical and electrical engineering skills to design and create industrial automation solutions Field Application Engineer : Onsite Deployment of state-of-the-art intelligent automation solutions Industrial Robotics Engineer (desirable): Programing industrial robots (e.g. ABB, KUKA, FANUC, UR, …) to intergate into intelligent automation solutions You are able to design CAD models for automation solutions and their components and derive technical drawings for their manufacturing. You can distinguish between optimized design for mechanical manufacturing and 3D printing. You have gained experience in mechanical manufacturing, prototyping and assembly. You are able to develope PLC solutions and have experience with common industrial communication interfaces and PLC environments e.g. Beckhoff TwinCAT and Siemens TIA. You are familiar with electrical components, and you are able to design and implement mechatronic solutions. You live in or around Berlin or you are eager to move to Berlin. You feel comfortable with onsite customer visits, deployment and travels, mostly in Germany and EU. You like project work and enjoy facing constantly changing challenges in a dynamic working environment. You speak the German language fluently. Bonus if: You have gained experience with optomechanical components like industrial cameras, lenses and different lighting setups. You have worked and coded with industrial robots, preferably ABB, Kuka, Fanuc, UR or similar. You are familiar with 3D printing devices and prototyping techniques.
