Specialist RF Engineer We are partnering with a leading space technology company based in Germany. Our client, a global player in the aerospace industry, is seeking a talented Specialist in RF technology to join their innovative team. With a focus on navigation and telecom payload, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of space technology. Your Role: As a Specialist in RF, your primary mission will be to lead the design, development, and implementation of the RF section of the Navigation/Telecom payload. You'll be at the forefront of groundbreaking projects, contributing to the success of space missions and satellite communication. Key Responsibilities: Model and assess critical parameters such as EIRP, out-of-band emissions, noise figure, in-band spurii, and clock frequency stability. Conduct architecture trade-offs for the RF section, including antenna and amplifier components. Coordinate requirements flow-down and contribute to the specification writing for subsystems and units. Review and assess supplier proposals to ensure alignment with project goals. Define verification and test approaches to ensure the highest standards of performance. Contribute to the internal training, knowledge, and tools database. Support test campaigns by analyzing measured payload performance and addressing anomalies/non-conformances. Travel regularly to supplier and customer sites, providing technical support and participating in testing and technical meetings. Your Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Signal Processing, or a comparable discipline. Professional experience as a Systems Engineer, demonstrating expertise in RF systems. Hands-on experience in the design, analysis, implementation, and measurement of RF systems, preferably with MIMO/beamforming systems. Proven ability to work independently with a self-managed and proactive working style. Working level proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is advantageous. Experience in using Matlab for system analysis and design.
