Job Requirements Job Title: Purchasing Clerk / Operations Buyer Location: Viernheim, Germany Antech Diagnostics are looking for an Operations Buyer to join our growing team in Viernheim. You will be responsible for purchasing all non-capital materials and laboratory supplies within your assigned location. Key responsibilities include: - Overseeing the ordering process for laboratory diagnostic materials and supplies via the ERP system. - Working closely with suppliers and internal departments including the laboratories, logistics and finance. - Negotiating with suppliers and cost management. - Handling any complaints or issues that may arise, to ensure consistent service levels. - Creating and maintaining master data and relevant documentation. - Handling customs formalities and reporting regulations when required. - Planning, implementing and monitoring procurement activities. - Working within short timescales to ensure on time delivery and issuing/confirming purchase orders. - Ensure receipt of supplier confirmation for all PO's and resolve any supplier issues pertaining to pricing or delivery. Work Experience - Proven experience within a supply chain, sourcing or purchasing role. - Organised approach to your work. - Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks. - German and English written and verbal language skills. - Strong problem solving and analytical skills. - Intermediate proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office products including Excel.
