About the team:
You will be part of the UA CSI DITA Engineering team, an international and multicultural team, responsible for the UA platform used worldwide by all internal SAP User Assistance teams to create, produce and publish high quality documentation for SAP customers (https://help.sap.com ).
Our team is part of the "User Assistance Content, Services and Infrastructure” unit that provides infrastructure and services to enable the User Assistance (UA) community at SAP to innovate and deliver the best help experience to SAP customers.
What you’ll do:

In this role, you’ll:
As a student, you will be part of a team that develops and operates the SAP User Assistance platform (aka, DITA CCMS Landscape), composed of:
* DITA CCMS solution providing authoring and localization capabilities and running on SAP Private Cloud (Open Stack)
* DITA Build solution providing CI/CD and publishing capabilities, relying on micro-service architecture and state-of-the-art cloud native serverless technologies on Google Cloud.
In this role, you will have the great opportunity to:
* Enhance DITA CCMS automation by integrating Python API.
* Improve end-user reporting for our Machine Translation solution
* Collaborate with multiple teams in various locations for continuous improvement.

Who you are:
You are a student at a university or a university of applied sciences with:
* Experience in agile software development in Python and Perl
* Deep working knowledge with Linux
* Knowledge in Cloud development
* Self-organized, team player, curious with a creative mind.
* Fluent English - both written and verbal, German as a plus.
* Prior work experience in software-engineering projects is a plus.
