Our ‘Flow Measurement & Application’ development team consists of eight motivated specialists from various disciplines. Our aim is to develop innovative systems for ultrasonic flow measurement and to ensure a reliable measurement function in demanding or new applications. Our focus is on applications in a climate-neutral industry as well as on production-orientated design. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where collaboration and knowledge sharing are encouraged.
YOUR TASKS:
* Work with market experts and the development team to design innovative sensor solutions for climate-neutral applications in the industry
* Take responsibility for the design and development of ultrasonic-based sensor technology, working closely with the electronics, software, design and production departments
* Develop new or optimised ultrasonic measurement technologies for particularly demanding process conditions
* Take into account material properties and the associated assembly and connection technology as well as the functional requirements for the measurement technology in the acoustic design
* Actively contribute your creative ideas to team meetings and carry out simulations, analyses and practical tests to validate the solution approaches
* Co-operate with research partners in joint studies and projects
YOUR PROFILE:
* You have a degree in physics, electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable degree programme
* Experience in the application and design of sensor systems, ideally in the field of ultrasonic sensors, electroacoustics or flow measurement technology desirable
* Very good written and spoken German and English skills
* You are characterised by your independence and sense of responsibility
* You actively contribute your creativity and innovative spirit
* Your strong ability to present and communicate work results is one of your strengths
