Job Description Your crew during this flight: Your primary crew mates during this flight will be from the Mechanical Engineering department. Your mission during this flight: As Structural Engineer - Rotor, you will be responsible for all structural topics in rotor design (structural design, stress design etc.), rotor testing (fatigue, static strength, damage tolerance, bird strike etc) and rotor compliance demonstration on structural topics. This includes test activities such as defining test strategy, test bench selection and test bench design support, external tests support, test plan generation and test analysis; and analysis activities such as stress and structural related analysis like fatigue, damage tolerance and static strength. Your key responsibilities: You ensure that all above mentioned activities are done within cost/time/schedule targets You participate as a design engineer in the communication with EASA as part of the Project team You drive the rotor structural design and design process including the used processes and materials
