Job Description
The job holder will work as an Electrical Design Engineer (d/m/w) and will mainly be responsible for the following tasks:
* Creation and implementation of circuit diagrams, cable drawings and parts lists.
* Assistance and support with the interface definition of electrical subsystems and assemblies Design construction using the (electrical) system documentation for the electrical system components (hardware and software).
* Create test and test specifications with the ECAD tool EPLAN.
* Execute system and integration tests in cooperation with the system engineer and the Integration Verification & Validation (IV&V) Manager.
* Technical support for subcontractors.
* Support in the installation and commissioning of subsystems, implementation of electrical safety (design and implementation of applicable standards).
* Collaboration / consultation in the creation of test specifications/test procedures.
* Procuring and checking necessary design documents, examining feasibility and function from a design perspective, coordinating or proposing design changes.
* Carrying out calculations: Designing cable cross-sections, fuse protection, etc. using formulas, deriving and calculating factory standards if necessary.
* Processing drafts into production-ready drawings in coordination with the system engineer and, if necessary, the production department.
* Technical creation and assessment of test specifications and test instructions Supporting/providing information to the PRC-E (Product Regulatory Compliance Engineer).
Additional tasks in the Electrical Design team
* Assistance in the creation and implementation of system concepts, system architectures and system specifications for electrical systems.
* Design using the (electrical) system documentation for the electrical system components (hardware and software) in the EPlan tool.
* Creation of parts lists in SAP PLM.
* Creation of test and test specifications.
* Carrying out system and integration tests.
* If required, coordination and technical support of subcontractors.
* Support with the commissioning of systems and subsystems.
Qualifications
* Technical background preferably in Electrical Engineering.
* Experience in electrical development or production (installation, cable drawing and/or control cabinets) is required.
* MS-Office At least knowledge of detailed functions.
* Knowledge of E-Plan an advantage.
* Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.
* Team-oriented and independent working style.
* Fluency in German and English is required.
