Description
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to support our customers with current and future installed tools at customer sites.
We will consider new graduates provided they demonstrate a strong hands-on aptitude and a desire to succeed.
** Position is based in Dresden/ Freiberg **
YOUR MAYOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Primarily responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment at customer site.
2. Representing the company to the customer and accountability for customer satisfaction with service.
3. Assuring operational quality of system equipment. Coordinating actions with customers to minimize down time.
4. Preparation of field service reports on customer support activity and providing documentation to other supporting functions on re-occurring problems. May provide assistance to installation engineers in resolving problems.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
5. Certified engineer (Bachelor, Master, Diplom) or degree from advanced technical school or work experience of ~3 years.
6. Ability to understand and troubleshoot problems in software and electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems to address on site customer problems.
7. Excellent customer relation and excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
9. Ability to work in a team within a multi-cultural environment.
10. Fluent in English and German language is a must.
11. Proficiency in MS office tools
12. Experience in the semiconductor or electronic industry is a plus
13. The candidate needs to be a hands-on type person, enthusiastically interested in learning new things and keen on communicating with customers and our internal Division.
14. Domestic and international travel may be required.up to 30 %.
