HVAC/Mechanical Commissioning Engineer - Contract- Data Centres - Frankfurt

Role overview:
The purpose of the HVAC/mechanical commissioning engineer is to test & prove that each piece of HVAC/ mechanical equipment used to cool a data centre works as per the building owners design specifications and intent.
Requirements:
Have experience of installation and commissioning of the following types of HVAC equipment.
1. Chillers (Air or Water cooled) and associated Chilled Water System (CWS) distribution circuits
2. Evaporative coolers
3. Air Handler Units (AHU)
4. Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC)
5. Computer Room Air Handler (CRAH)
6. Pumps
7. Variable Speed Drives (VSD)/ Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
Have experience of commissioning control systems.
8. Must have demonstrated experience of carrying out functional testing of building control systems and the integration of those systems with all pieces of HVAC/ mechanical equipment within that building. Functional testing carried out as per the Functional Description or Sequence of Operation documentation and client specifications. Summary of minimum functionality tested,
9. Equipment local and remote Start & Stop
10. All controls tested (e.g., temperature, humidity, pressure control PID loops etc.)
11. All failure modes tested
12. All alarms tested and proven correct locally and at SCADA graphics
13. All graphics tested and proven to be accurate and data points correctly represented.
14. Data trending and alarm handling correctly setup
15. Direct Digital Control (DDC)
16. Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
17. Building Management System
