Full Flight Simulator Development Engineer
Location: Munich, Germany
Contract: 12 months (possible extension)
Job Responsibilities
Simulator Development & Design
* Lead the full lifecycle of the training simulator, from concept to operational deployment.
* Define and review technical specifications for flight dynamics, aerodynamics, and aircraft systems.
* Ensure the simulator accurately replicates aircraft behavior, including motion, control, and system functionalities.
Testing, Qualification & Compliance
* Develop and execute testing protocols to validate simulator accuracy, reliability, and functionality.
* Ensure compliance with EASA CS-FSTD and FAA Part 60 regulatory standards.
* Maintain certification documentation and liaise with regulatory bodies to achieve and sustain certification.
Operational Support & Project Leadership
* Provide lifecycle support, including troubleshooting, updates, and technical modifications.
* Work closely with flight test teams, simulator manufacturers, and engineers to integrate aircraft updates into the simulator.
* Manage timelines, budgets, and quality control for simulator development projects.
Job Requirements
* Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field .
* Extensive experience in full-flight simulator development, particularly for turboprop regional aircraft .
* Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, and flight physics as applied to simulation.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements (EASA CS-FSTD, FAA Part 60) .
* Proven experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration .
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively across disciplines.
