Software Engineer - Algo Infrastructure
for our office in Hamburg.
Your key responsibilities
* Develop, support, and continuously improve worldclass software solutions for algorithmic trading directly together with algorithmic traders, algo developers in the front-office in a fast moving agile working environment, highly solution oriented
* Support algorithmic traders in solving crucial ad-hoc issues that arise during day-to-day operations
* Drive the integration of new markets/exchanges and addition of new features
* Enhance our existing, containerized landscape towards our ambitious goals
* Ensure fast and stable test/training and production environments (on-premise, cloud, and co-location)
* Keep track of the latest market developments around algorithmic trading technologies and provide related advise
Qualifications
Your profile:
* Relevant university degree / apprenticeship or corresponding work experience
* Excellent programming skills and experience (>=3 years) in C#
* Very good experience with distributed systems and cloud/container technologies (Kubernetes, ideally in Azure)
* Excellent problem-solving abilities, including expertise in root cause analysis
* Very good experience in CI/CD and automated deployment (ideally Azure DevOps, pipelines)
* Very good experience with Linux environments
* Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
* Team player with excellent communication skills
* Ideally knowledge about FIX protocol and/or Reuters/LSEG
* Ideally experience working in a trading environment
