Description The Development Engineer will perform specific tasks such as design and develop new products and services, which includes independent project management. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform and provide guidance on engineering tasks using established procedures including but not limited to, stress analysis, design calculations, material selection, cost estimates and tolerance studies. Research, design, assemble and test prototypes and document all results. Independently lead and coordinate projects for new product development and product line related sustaining work with providing regular reviews. Perform and guide on design activities and coordinate with the Technical Designer for the preparation of drawings, test procedures and engineering change orders. Independently work and coordinate with sales, marketing, operations, production and manufacturing to provide technical data and product information for prototype manufacturing through to product commercialization.
