Role Summary
:
·Administers in-use vehicle PEMStesting activities in the United States. This includes coordination of VWGoA and VW AG PEMS activities.
·Supports local certification testing activities, including confirmatory and compliance testing.
Role Responsibilities:
PEMS (Portable Emissions Measurement Systems) – (~70%)
·Lead PEMS testing activities in the United States
·Coordinate vehicle procurement and testing at Volkswagen Emission Laboratory
·Develop processes, technical test procedures and work instructions
·Perform analysis for PEMS test data and develops standard reporting templates and reports
·Create technical presentation and results to VWGoA and VW AG/AUDI AG
·Support additional EEO in-use testing and regulatory activities as required
·Represent VWGoA in Industry technical forums (e.g. SAE, CRC)
Certification and General Regulatory Activities – (~30%)
·Support local certification test programs, including vehicle preparation and testing, support root cause analysis for test vehicles, aid in preparation/readiness for agency certification vehicle confirmatory testing and/or surveillance test programs
·Support the VWGoA, VW AG and AUDI AG Emission Committees
·Support other EEO regulatory activities as required

Years of Experience:
1. 5+ years of Emissions Engineeringexperience
Education - Required:
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a technical field

6. International working experienceand understanding of culturaldifferences
7. Knowledge of emission measurement processes & procedures
8. Strong knowledge of application tools(INCA, Diagra)
9. Knowledge of vehicle emission standards, emission certification requirements and AECD methodology
Work Flexibility:
·Willing to travel to various test locations in the US and Germany
·Possible relocation to California (Oxnard area)
In Oxnard, CA, the salary range for this position is $88,500- $128,400.00
