POSITION SUMMARY
We are recruiting for an HR Generalist to join our team in Germany. This will be a hybrid role supporting employees and managers across multiple locations. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global organisation.
You will be providing support across various HR functions including recruitment, employee lifecycle management, and compliance with German labour laws. You’ll also be supporting and assisting our wider HR team in more complex initiatives and project
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage job requisitions by creating job adverts, coordinate applicant communication, and support onboarding processes.
Maintain and update employee records in HR systems (SF), ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Draft and oversee employment contracts, handle employee changes, and manage fixed-term contract extensions.
Oversee onboarding/offboarding of contingent workers, monitor contracts, and ensure compliance.
Advise on labour law, maintain HR documentation, support performance management, and handle disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
Monitor key compliance deadlines, such as work permits and disability status renewals. Support HR policy updates, ensure adherence to company regulations, and assist with additional HR tasks as required.
Manage offboarding, prepare termination notices, provide severance guidance, and issue leaving certificates.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
* Strong knowledge of German labour laws and HR regulations.
* Experience in HR administration, recruitment, and employee relations.
* Strong analytical, prioritising, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
* Proficiency in HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive HR matters with discretion and professionalism.
* Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organisation, as well as, internal and external clients.
* Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
