In our company, your core responsibilities include: Primary responsibility for Restricted Materials Compliance (MC) and Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) initiatives (approximately 80-90% of time). Secondary responsibilities are Quality Systems engineering as required by the organization (approximately 10-20%). You will help ensure the conformance of the materials and components of the FormFactor System and Emerging Growth Business Units products with global Environmental and Sustainability regulations, labeling and reporting requirements by: Owning the relationship with consultants to research and track applicable global and regional Environmental and Sustainability Regulations, Directives, Acts, Initiatives and Policies, such as US EPA Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), European Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive, and Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) and upcoming Global and US Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) regulations. Work with consultant to monitor the development of new and existing global Environmental and Sustainability Regulations, reporting, and any updates in the existing Regulations (such as PFAS reporting, SCIP reporting, CE mark, RoHS declarations, new material restrictions, reporting and labeling etc.) Maintain and improve Restricted Materials Management processes within the FormFactor System and Emerging Growth Business Units and develop/implement Business Unit-wide processes and support alignment withing FormFactor Inc Business Units on Restricted Materials Management processes. Evaluate and maintain Materials Compliance throughout the Product Life Cycle (PLC) from design to launch (Design for Compliance), managing compliance databases for Bill of Materials (BOM) through the delivery of Materials Compliance documentation, article/product testing and certification at individual article, Component and System levels. Identify Material compliance process training needs and deliver the training throughout the organization and develop training plans to build compliance awareness. You are supporting global Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) activities and Quality Systems organization in upkeeping RBA management system, supporting ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications in FormFactor by working with global Legal, Human resources, EHS, Product Quality, Supplier Quality and Quality systems teams by directly or indirectly supporting tools such as the Learning Management System (LMS), 8D, SPC, FMEA, APQP, MSA as assigned and supporting of timely customer surveys completion and submission by: Driving RBA management reviews, maintaining RBA online account, completing Global and site level Self-Assessment Questionnaires (SAQ) and owning the external RBA management in FormFactor. Respond to customer surveys from Quality, Material Compliance and RBA aspects. Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems. Support of assigned quality tools implementation. What you should bring with you: Bachelor's or master’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical), or a related field. Minimum 4 years of experience in Restricted Material Compliance or a related field. Experience and knowledge of global Environmental and Sustainability Regulations, Directives, Acts, Initiatives and Policies. Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and maintain a high level of accuracy and accountability with minimal supervision. Proven ability to work effectively with large sets of data across multiple databases. Knowledge of MS Office tools required (including Pivot table and VLOOKUP functions in Excel). Very good written and spoken German and English, for communication within the team and with consultants and customers. Prior ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 Management Systems Engineering experiences and understanding of quality tools (8D, SPC, FMEA, MSA, APQP, etc.) is in advantage.
