As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the operations team and act as the technical expert in electrical engineering and construction, providing expertise and support for capital projects as well as for the maintenance department and other relevant functions. Dow engineers play a crucial role in making sound technical judgments to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities
1. Support in design and electrical engineering according to Dow, German and European standards and regulations
2. Collaborate in the supervision of electrical systems within chemical production plants
3. Assist in planning new installations and carrying out modifications
4. Provide support for maintenance activities on electrotechnical systems and equipment
5. Engage in the operational management of electrical plants
6. Evaluate operational data and identify appropriate electrotechnical equipment
7. Maintain close collaboration with manufacturers, contractors, plant personnel, and external suppliers of the planning department and the German electrical team
Qualifications
8. Bachelor's / master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
9. Recent graduate or up to two years of work experience
10. Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a proactive mindset
11. Effective communication skills and digital literacy
12. Willingness to specialize in areas of electrical engineering and automation technology
13. Innovative and open-minded personality who thrives in multicultural teams
14. Motivated to grow and develop in an environment that fosters continuous learning
15. Fluency in German language and good English language skills
16. A valid driver's license
Preferred skills
17. Knowledge of CAD or similar engineering tools
18. Expertise in PLC (Siemens Simatic) or switchgear control systems
19. Knowledge about electrical protection equipment (e.g. protection relays)
