WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a IT Project Manager within Retail Tech, you are responsible for the successful roll-out of new retail-related tech capabilities within your sales market. You support in implementing tech initiatives, ensuring that technical capabilities are aligned with German legislation.
You will play a key role in making complex technology simple and accessible for all stakeholders and act as a trusted partner, facilitating clear communication, rolling out IT solutions and ensuring compliance with legal frameworks.
You will:
* Translate complex IT systems and their components into clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand insights for diverse stakeholders.
* Taking part in negotiations with the works council, ensuring transparency, compliance, and a collaborative approach.
* Work closely with the IT expert of the works council, fostering a strong partnership built on trust and technical expertise.
* Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, particularly with Betriebsverfassungsgesetz (BetrVG) and data protection laws, integrating these into IT and operational strategies.
* Drive digital transformation and innovation, ensuring that technology supports business growth, operational efficiency, and an improved customer experience.
* Drive the successful implementation of IT updates and products by translating global roll out plan into locally adapted execution
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As part of Retail Tech & Operations team, you will play a vital role in integrating digital solutions that enhance our IT infrastructure. Collaboration is fundamental to how we operate, ensuring that technology and business align seamlessly to support growth and efficiency – you’ll work closely with Expansion, Legal and Business Tech, ensuring that our technology drives efficiency and business success. Our fast-paced and evolving way of working reflects the dynamic of fashion itself.
Reporting to our Regional Tech & Operations Manager, you will also partner with labour law & labour relation specialists, work council and external tech consultants to ensure seamless alignment between tech innovation, business needs, and compliance requirements.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with…
* In-depth knowledge of IT systems, particularly SAP and Microsoft products
* Proven ability to explain complex IT systems in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, effectively conveying information and ideas across different audiences.
* Experience in negotiations, ensuring compliance with Betriebsverfassungsgesetz (BetrVG).
* Expertise in conflict resolution and finding common ground
* Fluency in both German and English

This is a full time position, starting 1st of April 2025. The role is a hybrid role, based in Berlin or Hamburg with the expectation of working from one of our offices for three days per week.
