We are looking for a passionate HR Generalist / Recruiting Specialist to join our HR team in Geesthacht, Germany.
In this office-based role, you will provide operational HR support in all areas of the employee life cycle. In parallel, you will play an active role in finding the right hires. This is a highly collaborative position, and you will report to the Talent Acquisition Director (50%) and HR Manager (50%) and are part of our international HR & Recruiting Teams.
What you will do
1. Develop, follow up and execute of Sensient’s HR plan
2. Provide support, oversight and approval of payroll, as well as promote internal and external compensation and benefits
3. Collaborate with management on staffing issues, merit/promotions, and employee relations
4. You will be THE go-to person for local recruitment: identify and screen candidates, work with the Hiring Managers, ensure great candidate experience, be accountable for filling open roles with the right candidates
5. Manage and report on new hires (including onboarding), performance development plans, and termination procedures (off-boarding)
What you will bring
6. Solid generalist HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment and showing growth within the role
7. Full life cycle recruiting experience
8. Strong communication skills in English and German
9. We need you to be a team player, adaptive and with proactive attitude to work at an international level. You are able to influence and build successful working relationships at all levels
10. You are available to work from our Geesthacht site on daily basis, with some occasional travel
