Your prospective job:
For our customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as a Test and Integration Engineer (m/f/d) at the location Ulm.
Your responsibilities:
- Analyzing the system requirements and deriving suitable test methods
- Designing, developing and executing automated test cases and test suites using various tools and frameworks
- Setting up and maintaining a containerization environment and creating container images for testing and for the delivery of software components as an integrated service
- Implementing continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines in Jenkins to automate the test build and delivery process
- Developing and maintaining test applications with C++ and Python
- System integration and verification of the specified system behavior
Your profile:
- Completed studies in computer science, software engineering or comparable
- Experience in programming test applications with C++ and Python in a LINUX development environment is necessary
- Proven experience in the area of software testing and verification of requirements must be available
- Experience in the area of integration and verification is required
- Experience with technologies for message distribution between applications such as publish-subscribe message brokers and middleware / experience in handling and managing LINUX installations / experience in the area of performance testing
- Knowledge of the DO-178C standard and its application is desirable
- Knowledge and practical experience in the area of DevOps, build servers such as Jenkins and relevant plugins for CI/CD must be available
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman and their use is required
- Knowledge of how to use tools for software creation, such as Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, Subversion and Git is a must
- Very good knowledge of Python
- Fluent German and English skills both spoken and written
